With so many sizes available for Prints, Gallery Wraps, and Metals, Full Color makes it easy to design, sell, and order an art grouping that is sure to impress! There are many variations of styles and sizes to choose from depending on the wall space your client needs to fill. Here are 3 suggestions on arranging art groupings to get you started.
Classic Groupings - Group same size prints together in either an even or odd numbered arrangement. Prints grouped in odd numbers give volume without crowding. Even numbered prints can be grouped symmetrically and will work well for smaller spaces.
Mosaic Groupings - Arrange a selection of dissimilar size prints with at least one common element, such as subject matter. Combine horizontal and vertical pieces and group larger and smaller pieces together to create interest and energy.
Staggered Groupings - Combine Classic or Mosaic Groupings in a staggered arrangement for odd spaces such as stairways. The most pleasing arrangement is to follow the line of the angle up the stairs and use that as the base line.
One way to help in arranging many pictures together is to use poster paper to trace your print sizes on the paper, then cut them out and mark on the paper where the nail will go. This is your template. Cut out all of the templates and use painter's tape to attach them to the wall you're working with. You can move them around, see how they work together, what fits best and how it will look in the end. The bonus is you've already marked the nail position, so you can hammer the nail in right over the paper, tear the paper down and your art is ready to hang.
